Frying Medu Vada and Poori Video

I shot this video of Frying Medu Vada and Poori in Srirangapatna in early November 2019. This eatery is just a few steps away from the Srirangapatna Temple in Srirangapatna.

Please note the below video is not a cooking tutorial and does not show recipe to prepare food.

Triranga Darshan

We embarked on a Triranga Darshan Tour from Mysore. The Triranga Darshan means visiting three Sri Ranganatha Temple in a day. The three temples are in different locations, two in Karnataka and one in Tamil Nadu.

The three temples should be visited in order, starting from the Sri Ranganatha Temple in Srirangapatna, then the Sri Ranganatha Swamy Temple in Shivanasamudra and finally the temple in Srirangam that is quite far away. I will cover this travel log in another post if in case you are interested.

Since these three temples had to be covered in a single day, we had to eat wherever we got chance and without wasting much time. We decided to complete our breakfast in this small eatery. They prepared the food in front of us, with fresh cooking oil, Uddina Vada batter and a readymade Poori dough.

This eatery is just few steps away from the Sri Ranganatha Temple in Srirangapatna. I shot the video using my old SJ6 Legend action camera and editing using my MI Note 5 Pro smartphone.
